These terms govern your use of thedogcarseat.com and any order you place with us. By using this website or placing an order you accept them.

1. Who we are

2. Orders and prices

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation by email. Prices are shown in the currency selected for your country and include applicable taxes where required by law. Delivery costs are added at checkout and shown before you pay. We may refuse or cancel an order if the product is unavailable, if the price or description was clearly wrong, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund you in full.

3. Product information

We describe our products as accurately as we can. Colours can appear differently on different screens, and sizes are given as weight ranges for guidance. If the seat does not fit your dog, our returns policy covers you.

4. Safe use of the product

Our dog car seats are designed to keep your dog in one place and reduce driver distraction. They are a comfort and containment product. They are not a crash protection device and are not marketed as crash tested. Always secure the seat with the vehicle seat belt as shown in the instructions, and always clip the internal safety leash to your dog harness, never to a collar. Never leave a dog alone in a parked vehicle.

5. Payment

Payments are processed by Shopify Payments and the payment providers shown at checkout. We never see or store your full card details.

8. Intellectual property

The content of this website, including text, photographs and design, belongs to TheDogCarSeat or is used with permission. You may not reproduce it commercially without our written consent.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

10. Consumer rights

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you keep all rights given to you by consumer law, including the 14 day right of withdrawal and the legal guarantee of conformity. Nothing in these terms reduces those rights.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time of your order is the one that applies to it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without affecting the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
